Brew-group movement, water flow and milk preparation

On models with a removable brew group, its position and condition are part of the overall assessment. Coffee delivery problems may also involve grinding, the water path, drainage or heating. Some water in a drip tray is normal during machine operation; a sudden change, persistent leak or interrupted drink needs a more specific description than simply saying the tray contains water.

Symptoms to Tell the Workshop About

  • Brew-group movement or insertion warnings
  • Coffee grinding without normal delivery into the cup
  • Water-flow interruptions and persistent leaks
  • Milk preparation problems on equipped machines
  • Error indications and cleaning or descaling cycles that do not complete normally

Planning a Useful Assessment

Tell us whether the machine completes its normal start-up rinse and whether hot water can still be dispensed. If a brew group is stuck, do not force it out. Describe what happened immediately before the fault, particularly if it followed an interrupted cycle or routine cleaning.

Before You Book or Transport the Machine

Send a clear image of the product label, the displayed code or indicator lights and the front of the machine. Tell us which milk system it uses. Confirm accessories with the workshop so the relevant functions can be checked without bringing unnecessary loose items.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I force out a stuck brew group before bringing the machine in?

No. Follow the instructions for the exact model and contact us if it remains stuck. Forcing a mechanism can cause further damage. We can advise on safe transport and assessment.

Will repair work start without a quotation?

No. Assessment findings, parts availability and proposed repair charges are explained for approval before repair work proceeds.
